With his recent interest in Pokémon, today we both learned how to play the Pokémon TCG as well!

Today, he asked me to teach him the OLD Digimon TCG known as "Digi-Battle Card Game." I got this set when I was a kid!

I'll start. I stated that salting the snowy driveway while only half of it was shoveled was inefficient because most of it got shoveled into the grass just minutes later. I wasn't mad or mean about it, but now I'm a dictator??

wow 12 million for War of Rohirrim this movie bombed. It bombed so hard it makes past films that WB distributed that were bombs look like god damn successes. WB didn't properly market the film to normies but even if it did the movie wasn't good to begin with.

The sad thing is I knew this was coming out for a couple of years, but I didn't know it had come out until it had been out for 5 days already. Where was the marketing??

My son kinda wrecked me in one Digimon TCG battle tonight. He used a Jesmon deck while I used the Shoemon deck. He digivolved from Lvls. 2 through 6 to reach Jesmon early on. All those inherited effects bringing in more Sistermon cards, plus his Security Attack +1 ... yeah it wasn't pretty 😅

I had NO IDEA that I'd be teaching my 4-year-old to play the Digimon TCG but here I am. He's even got a lot of the terminology down!

32 is way too young

It took some time to come to terms with her unexpected passing. The outpouring of love for that beautiful, bold, independent woman who lit up the light of everyday life with her presence... it has been great to see. The world lost an awesome human. RIP Nichelle

Today, I attended a funeral for a girl I dated 14 years ago. She was one of few that I truly loved during our time together. It really only ended when she moved across the country for school. We ended on good terms. Though I've found a new loving relationship, I never stopped loving her.

The sheer of joy and relief of people grabbing Taylor Swift's brand new book and vinyl releases this morning needs to be studied and bottled for treatment of depression.

Now we're playing Mario Party 5. We've got Super Mario Party on Switch, but sometimes he likes these GameCube games

I got home to find my 4-year old playing DBZ Budokai 2 on Nintendo GameCube. I'm not sure if that makes me a good or parent, but I'm definitely a rad parent!
