A fluffy black-and-white border collie named Chester pushes his head into the chest of his best pal Millie, a reddish-tan black-mouthed cur who is lying on her side on a carpeted floor against a dog bed. Millie is looking up at the camera with a wide-eyed and open-mouthed goofy expression. Her tongue is just about to loll out.

A dog and her human, a few dozen yards distant at the top of a hill, are silhouetted against the yellow-gold glow of the rising sun as they walk away from the camera on a paved country road.

Barb (who was with Chester, who likes to dawdle) took this shot of Millie and me as we headed home on the morning walk a few days ago.

Browsing during chemo, I've found two Bland Lemon Denton songs swiped by Russian pirates for Blues compilations, along with tunes by the likes of Muddy Waters and Sue Foley. Feeling ripped-off and proud!
