As a #GenX - I’ve been thinking about the generations above me. We talk a lot about Boomers, but also our grandparents, the Silent generation. That’s where they are trying to take us back to. The Great Depression. Only thing is, WE ARE FAR FROM SILENT. Keep. Going.

I just want people to know if you’re feeling overwhelmed, that’s the plan. Try to limit your social media and news. And question every single source. Go to nature. Remember who you f*cking are. Rest, find pockets of joy and pleasure. Resist in ways you can immediately control. Rinse and repeat.

Just had a memory pop up on my phone 4 years ago. My voice was so much higher. It was a video of my plants, all so much smaller. Remembering my growth is essential while mental health continues to be tested. I can do hard things and grow from them. Zooming out and seeing our progress is vital ❤️‍🩹🌱✨
