The Racist Part, the one for white nationalists, is accusing others of sectarianism. You couldn’t make it up.

This is absolutely what will happen; the full power of the establishment will be turned on the Green Party. Every newspaper, every TV channel, every social media algorithm. The whole lot will be focused on discrediting the Green Party.

Criminalising drugs doesn’t stop people using them, it just means their life can be ruined if they get caught.

Meanwhile, Portugal decriminalised all drugs decades ago and lifetime drug use has decreased since.

When the Czech Republic decriminalised small amounts, use didn’t increase.

Our current drug policies actually shatter lives. We can educate young people about drugs from a harm reduction perspective without paternalistically criminalising them for what they choose to put in their bodies.

Also alcohol is one of the worst drugs out there, and it’s perfectly legal.

I don’t think it’s totally a coincidence that Wessley now sits on the NHS England Gender Dysphoria Research Oversight Board. He has a history of allowing his research, or producing “research” to justify policies that harm vulnerable groups.

Similarly, the Cass Review’s manufacturing of “evidence” to withdraw treatment from trans kids (and adults) was IMO modelled on the use of Simon Wessely’s biopsychosocial model to justify withdrawing benefits from people with ME/CFS and hard to treat conditions with unexplained symptoms.
