Haha, thanks- it's not necessarily that the picture is bad but, I think there are some compositional decisions that would make it better and stronger for me- I want the building and the Cedar tree to have a clearer presence, and I think the blinds and door should be less yellow

This work in progress may have reached a point where I think it's just not going to work. I'm going to spend a little time to see if I can rescue it, but I think I might have to start again πŸ˜•

I feel like he's more pinkly fleshy than those three. For some reason in my mind I picture him as an enormous, bald and slightly shiny Boris Johnson

In fairness to the electrician, there may be an argument for spreading the load across two separate circuits, though I would maybe expect just to run a single higher amp circuit back to the fuse box.

In the case of Madeline's house, it's generally how houses don't work and shouldn't have ever been built.
But I think all of us live in hope that it might become a house that works

Yes, and there is a great gulf between being able to nail it sometimes (me), versus really having the skill to know how to do it consistently (Hugo Pratt)

I had the editions with the Celtic knotwork and art by Brian Froud, and spent many hours trying to replicate the designs

There is no Mr Death; Mrs Death has always been a widow. You might imagine that Mrs Death lives alone, but she neither lives, nor is she alone; her work means that she is always around other people, she also has a cat.

β€œwhy do you lock replies” people don’t realize that the kind of entitlement they have towards interacting with a stranger is a new phenomenon and the internet incentivizes a certain level of anti social behavior one should have the agency to spare oneself from
