This man read 3,599 books in his life. His hand-written reading list is inspiring others | CBC Radio Dan Pelzer made it his personal goal to read at least 100 pages every day, and he kept a list of every book he’d ever read since 1962, spanning almost any genre you can think of, totalling 3,599.

As an undergrad, I read somewhere that John Wesley read over 5000 books in his lifetime. I found that inspiring and so I started tracking the books I read.

New information has come to light that has caused me to revise my previous interpretation of this meme.

The nepotism two paragraphs later is what caught my eye:
