Just the way the pen hits the paper looks different than my digital render. So I will swing back through & do the steps again etc.

My most used programs are:
Photoshop
DrawingBot
Inkscape

They’re what I have the most experience with & what I know I can use to get the desired result.

And sometimes those steps will cycle through a few times. I will program vectors but they overemphasize an area I want to be less of a focal point, or they will not capture a critical part of the image. So I will re-edit, reprogram & once I feel good about it, I’ll plot it. And even then sometimes…

I like them to be softer than the rest of the image typically so I will do less rendering with the shading. They have so many details that I find it can be distracting. And as you may be able to tell, I like the focus to be… on the… focal point. Haha
