Lesser White-Fronted Goose at #RSPBDungeness this morning. Behind Christmas Dell Hide with a Greylag Goose. Then flew deeper into the reserve. Didnโt get a good look at the ring on its leg before it flew off. Escapee? @birdguides.bsky.social #ukbirding

Rays of sun creating a bit of drama! Wish I had my Hasselblad on me for this oneโฆ
Still no Bittern for me! Beautiful morning, though. RSPB Middleton Lakes never disappoints. Snipe was nice, very showy and close to the benches. Redstart and Lesser Whitethroat in the trees by the river. Avocet chicks that looked like they just hatched #middletonlakes
23.05.2025 11:02 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 060 species for me at #middletonlakes this morning. Unfortunately the Temminckโs Stint was not one of them. Was not seen by the time I left about 9am. Hopefully it will turn up for everyone later on. I also seem to be the only person who didnโt have a Bittern fly over their headโฆ
