But trans people get to experience that all the time until they take steps

Google sees your users content and data as an untouched gold mine they don't own. Y'all are basically giving it to them for free with this deal and stabbing your users in the back while also damaging the very nature your site/app encourages the study and love it.

This is pretty simple, actually: AI makes mistakes because it does not check facts, just offers a plausible answer. AI is bad for the environment. Your users do not want it, and will be mad about its results, so you will lose business.
