It’s not just driving, I think. I used to love walking home from the pub late at night too. I think I just like the absence of people.

I’ve decided I really love driving late at night. Normally I hate driving in the dark but I think that’s because LED headlights are a pain up the arse. Empty roads at 1am are a joy, however.

2026 can get in the fucking bin already. So far both my daughters have been ill (and we’ve had a horrible bullying letter from school), my wife sprained her ankle, work has been even more stressful than it was before Christmas, the boiler packed up and I’ve had to find 3k for a new one….
