It’s as if the BBC board are addicted to gossip journalism. Funny, but I just can’t imagine Chis Mason or Laura Kuenssberg actually doing proper investigative journalism like you would see on Al Jazeera for example. It’s a shame really that Robbie Gibb & co have dragged the corporation down so far.

We appear to have an entrenched mindset in the West that puts the accumulation of material wealth above all else. That being the case, why would the ruling classes want to properly invest in anything that risks undermining the system that prioritises GDP (& their own wealth) over the environment?

The worry is that, once backed into a corner, they will likely see war as their only means of escape.

Good god - Israel now using so-called ceasefire to go full-steam ahead with the ethnic cleansing of Gaza! No mention of this on the UK’s state broadcaster.
