I started reading his stuff at 12 or 13 because a friend of my parents gave me “The Cat Who Walks Through Walls” because the main character was Col. Colin Campbell.

God that book - it made me so angry I questioned if I was right to have loved many of his other books.

I feel similarly about chickens because we had those when I was a kid. Nasty, smelly, and so freaking stupid. You could spot the smart ones because they were the meanest.

I’d agree with another post that using an iPad or separate TV is more satisfying for my workouts than relying on the screen, but if you like the scenic workouts that take you through a town or landscape, get the screen and the subscription.

I have a Nordictrack treadmill that’s worked pretty well for moderate use over the last 2 winters. I run and it puts up with a mid-size adult hammering away for an hour very well. AFAIK, the big price difference on the NT treadmills is screen size, the guts are pretty similar on the inside.
