We explored how fungal infection 🍄 affects the bright warning colours of wild poison frogs 🐸. Neither melanin nor carotenoid colouration reliably signals infection status. Defensive signals may remain consistent even under pathogen pressure 👩‍🔬🧪

New paper out exploring synchronization of heart rate variability among artisanal fishers who cooperate with dolphins to catch their prey. Genetically diverse marsh frogs are rapidly invading the southeastern Netherlands, published in Amphiba-Reptilia.
