What was once a bug is now a feature in the republican party.

A huge aspect of the Trump campaign was rising grocery prices, particularly eggs (due to bird flu), and voters somehow believed him when he said prices would drop on Day 1. Then on day 2, Trump said there's nothing a president can do to lower grocery prices.

If memory serves, we've been saying that since Nov. 7, 2024.

Pretty sure it's what Trump is counting on so he can declare a "national emergency" to justify getting the midterms "temporarily" suspended and nationalizing voting.
