Es gibt gute Hinweise darauf, dass die Erde ursprΓΌnglich lila war. Chlorophyll, das heute die grΓΌne Farbe der Pflanzen bestimmt, gab es damals noch nicht. Stattdessen arbeiteten frΓΌhe Mikroorganismen wohl mit Retinal-basierten Pigmenten - und die sind lila.

Meine letzte Kolumne in diesem Jahr: Γber Tradition und Wissenschaft und gemeinsames Feiern.
"Das haben wir immer schon so gemacht" ist kein Argument - und meistens ist es auch falsch. Was Traditionen wichtig macht, ist etwas ganz anderes. Frohe Weihnachten!
