I’m not sure if anyone else has made this point yet, but is it fair to say that Gakpo’s injury has been a defining moment in recent weeks? I know Diaz through the middle wasn’t perfect, but Gakpo’s form negated that set-up to a degree & he eased the goal scoring burden on Salah.

If any good comes from this week then it’s that whatever happens between now and May, Slot has got a massive summer ahead. The end is nigh for many in this team.
