Hi, currently sick.

I've noticed after any bout of extended emotional stress, I get sick within a few days of the problem being resolved.

What are some times that you've had spiritual/mental maladies manifest on the physical sphere?

I've been working with Aengus Óg over the past few seasons. Romance has been a driving force in my life for as long as I can remember, so I figure aligning myself with the love god of my ancestors is wise

I love this perspective - not that one is restrained to the present as if it is a limitation.

Instead, the present is a safe harbor that one can explore memories and anxieties from.

An Acer Palmatum - how lovely!

It's fabled that the sight of this species of Maple in early autumn caused a spiritual awakening in the 59th Emperor of Japan.

A visit to Yamashiro Province forest was fabled to have inspired him to abdicate his throne in pursuit of a simpler life of art and poetry.

I love the gnosis that Gornichec approaches her stories from. I think you'd also like The Weaver and the Witch Queen if you haven't already read it.

Divine feminine is starkly accurate - Beech trees are considered the "Matriarch of the Forest", primarily for their tendency of rich humus formation for the soil they grow in. Depleted soil is enriched by their presence, paving the way for flora that wouldn't flourish there otherwise.

Interestingly, the Dawn Redwood is the only species in its genus - and was discovered as a fossil, believed to be extinct before one was found alive in the 1940s.
