A stronger leader than Trump would have told Netanyahu he wouldn't have any US support if he attacked Iran on his own and told him to stand down until proper planning and evacuation of Americans in the region could take place. You don't let Israel call the shots when you're not prepared.

Trump chose to start this war. It was not necessary. Many Americans were told we can’t afford to give them the healthcare they had last year, yet somehow we can afford endless war. The cost is being borne by service members and everyday Americans. Not by billionaires.
