There are a lot of character who have the same descriptors as other characters, its just the way it is and im not saying my characters are super unique or anything but im like please people realise sometimes characters have similarities and it doesnt make them that character

Right? So many blue haired character get called Jinx and then there is silco a character who has black hair with a white streak, pointed nose and a half facial scar? So like two face?

I feel you, its really put me off drawing some OCs or made me feel like i need to change them, my partner always encourages me not to change them, cause i know even if i change them theyd probably end up getting compared to someone else anyway

Omg nooooooooo i wish people would just enjoy things for what they are, and worh art its like ive just spend hours lovingly drawing my OCs and ive spent countless hours makong them, and then for it to just be called this thing instead, it jist sucks

Like your life would open up more if it was like ok you like Silco and this character makes you think of him, maybe you can find out more about that character because its a kind of design that appeals to you. Rather than going "thats this character" and walking away.

Comparison comments have always annoyed me, i know some people don't mind them but they get to me. And they like never stop, like how every purple/blue/flamboyant teifling is Mollymauk, then when I actually drew Mollymauk people where like omg dionysis?!

I just want my characters to have big facial scars in peace is that too much to ask. Thabk you, i love that silly little crusty guy, hes just having a good time.

I really try not let it get to be but it really does, made me absoloutely hate Silco as well. Honestly every time I see a character who has a big facial scar people are in the comments like omg silco??? When every other feature? Nothing like him. Its wild.

Just cause a character has some superficial simularaties doesnt make them the same, getting comments like "that basically just silco lmao" and "omg silco?!?" It genuinly sucks ngl.
