Elvira's back! My favorite pin of all time makes a return for Halloween. This was the first machine that I hunted down when I started collecting. Jack has it fresh and clean for her return.

One of the coolest things was having @burger_babie paint a mural in the arcade. I want to take the wall if we ever move out.

The day came to replace the roof, and they peeled it back only to find extensive fire damage and the building would have to come down. The building owner then backed out, leaving us dead in the water. Public Access is my 'Northwestern'.

The original concept for the arcade was to join forces with my coffee friends. A pie serving cafe with an arcade and art gallery attached. I'm not really into the bar/alcohol barcade thing. There are plenty out there doing that.

Before it was @superjumborecords.bsky.social the space held our tiny arcade. I still can't believe how many games we fit in the space.

By April of 2021 the arcade was on the final stretch. Artist Stuk One painted a giant mural with QBert elements in our alley. The front facade had to be changed to this bland design, but anything to get open.

Shut down after a month. It was tough to keep things running with no income coming in. We didn't know how long or when we could open again. It was scary.

Mike being a nerd in front of the future location. The city made us renovate the facade to something lame.

We were building out our location in a pawn shop that had been an institution in the community. (weird that there was such nostalgia for a pawn shop). The project seemed to chew us up and spit us out. I had some incredible people helping me get it done.

We finally were able to open in December 2019 in a temp 800sq ft location. We had maybe 50 games crammed in here.
Then the next month the 'rona shut us down.

I always wanted to work in an arcade. I bought my first game (Tekken Tag) from a garage sale in 2013. Yetee Station just turned 4 this month, and that's pretty rad.
