Finished Yakuza 2 (PS2) ✅
This is essentially Y1 but bigger and better in almost every way. There are so many improvements here, they straight refined the original's short comings. The story is as batshit and ambitious as I remember. Happy to finally experience the classics!
There was a slight temptation to jump here but I like going through franchises connected or not to see how everything has evolved 😌

Honestly its pretty cool place even though its largely a single street with not many stuff to do. Storywise this place actually makes sense compared to what they did in K2.
I have grown to adore PS2 Kiryu
He's rough but charming and Kuroda's work is a cherry on top
