I barely make art in the summer, since I just want to be outside! I take recordings and get most of the editing done in the winter.

Has anyone else noticed the word โ€œmodestโ€ creeping back in to marketing for womenโ€™s clothing? (ie. alongside cottagecore or folk aesthetic). Is anyone else troubled by this?
Itโ€™s like, yes to long sleeves but not when theyโ€™re made of red flags and dog whistles

The Irish custom remains to weave Brigid's crosses on her day, February 1st, and hang them above the hearth, doors, beds, in the ceiling and in the byre, to protect from fire, lightning, and evil spirits.

St Brigid's Eve and Day

In both Scotland and Ireland, Brigid was believed by many to visit every house on the eve of her feast day, and leave her blessing on the people and animals of the household.
