This buck was across the street today. And I got within 10 feet of him. But only because my dogs escaped and I was running around in my jammies whistling for them. Which probably explains the buck’s β€œWTF is going on!?” look.

Cold Brew Experiment #1.

1/2 cup Lavazza Super Crema, ground for espresso.
3 cups water (6:1 ratio)
Brew at room temp for 5h

Rich coffee color.
Vague coffee aroma.
Zero flavor. Not just no coffee flavor. No flavor period. Blech.

You can be a genius but emotionally immature. When an emotionally-mature person makes a mistake, they say β€œoops,” apologize, and fix it. An emotionally-immature person burns down everything and everyone rather than ever acknowledge they could have possibly made a mistake in the first place.

Fox News was working overtime to make sure there were no Trumpertantrums. It was blaring in the diner I went to tonite. 40 nonstop minutes trashing Biden. 1 minute on drowning victims.

Trump bankrupted the small-businesses and contractors who literally built his Atlantic City casinos by never paying their bills, but he paid himself millions. So what under-the-table deal is he milking from all these tariffs?

Is Media Culture Priming the World for Bullies as Leaders? There is a strong correlation between the rise of social media and smartphones, with the rise of autocratic governments around the world with bullies claiming to be heroes.

Apparently?

Sure feels like that β€œmovement” Trump kept promising everyone would be a part of…was just his industrial-scale bowel movement all over everything and everyone.

In the last week, I’ve counted at least 5 federal laws (including a Constitutional amendment) broken by this administration. I want more than angry messaging on social media by my lawmakers. I want decisive and swift action!

β€œThat rule is stupid so I don’t have to follow it.”

β€œI can do whatever I want, try and stop me.”

β€œIt’s my way or else I’ll throw a tantrum.”

Funny how the entire Trump administration sounds just like my kids when they were six.

Senator, do you believe they broke the law when discussing classified material on Signal? If so, you should explicitly say so. Being β€œincompetent” or β€œdishonest,” or β€œputting lives at risk” is a moral vaguery that this admin and its supporters tolerate. Either they uphold the law or break it.

27.03.2025 12:33 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I disagree Senator. The lesson is that they are above the law.

Rep. Olszewki, do you believe that they broke the law? This administration lies all the time and their supporters don’t bat an eye. But the law is VERY clear about handling and discussion of classified information, and if they broke the law, I really think that’s what you should be saying.

Nothing says β€œMake America Great Again” like taking $12,000,000,000 away from health care for 340,000,000 Americans to give Elon Musk another tax break.

Signal is not approved by the government for classified communications. It is only permitted by the DOD for non-classified information. Those are the simple facts.

26.03.2025 14:50 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Senator, here’s the message I’m NOT hearing: Signal is not DOD approved to transmit classified material. What they did violates federal law (e.g. 18 USC 793 & 798) and was illegal. Full stop. Lawmakers need to keep saying β€œillegal” because in this administration, incompetence is excusable.

26.03.2025 10:47 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Because they don’t teach that at Trump University.

25.03.2025 16:01 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Dear Republicans, if you’re still the party of law and order, then this is your Come To Jesus moment. Sec. Hegseth discussed classified information publicly (which includes in a non DOD-secure manner), in direct violation of 18 USC 793 & 798. Now
choose: did he break the law, or is he above it?

25.03.2025 13:30 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Discussing classified information publicly, including in any non-DOD secure manner, is a federal offense punishable by fines up to $250k and up to 10 years in prison (18 USC 793 & 798). Sec. Hegseth broke the law. It’s that simple. Now go after him with everything you’ve got.

Sure you can. It’s a perfect example of Trump hiring β€œthe best people.” By which I think he means that they bought the most degrees from his University.

Mr. Trump says *everything* is broken (believe him) so I propose the β€œRepublicans Are Burning It Down” act, to eliminate every entitlement, and shutter every agency/department except Defense. Let the military run everything that states don’t. We can even adopt TrumpCoin. It’s foolproof.

Mr. Takei, you forget that they don’t offer those at Trump University.
