At the end of Arcane Vi has no family, no community, no friends. I doubt she feels like she has any skills beyond fighting because AGAIN! Thrown in JAIL for SEVEN years. You mean to tell me that yay she lives and ends up with Cait that’s her happy ending??? FUCK THAT. That’s a horrific ending!!

- Has to fight. In a fucking war. Which has NOTHING to do with her
- Sister dies. Dad dies, AGAIN
- And now effectively has no one she can turn to besides the one cop who was kind to her but then also hurt her and her city. Like. She has no one but Caitlyn

- loses the last person who was kind to her in over seven years + loses any sense of purpose
- Goes on a downward spiral of fighting and drinking and hallucinating
- Finds out her dad is not dead! Just a mutated werewolf with amnesia!
- Loses said dad JUST on the cusp of having a family again

- is turned into the very thing she hates. Does she have agency? I say yes and no- she has literally no one she can fall back on because again!! Jail!! Also!! Parentifying conditioning comes back where she’s a person to be relied on, not someone who can rely on others! Which is very fucked up

- man who killed their father ALSO effectively wiped out whatever community she’d grown up in (I have thoughts on Silco and they are not kind)
- sister KIDNAPS both her AND the girl she likes, forces her to choose who to kill
- sister, again, seems like she’s gone

Vi’s ENTIRE fucking story arc is. A literal horror story.

- saw her parents’ dead bodies
- parentified by her guardian
- loses her entire family
- is thrown in JAIL. For SEVEN years. AS A TEEN
- sister’s been turned into someone violent, and is also working under the man who killed their father

He wasn’t wanted before, and now that he has nothing to give? He sure as hell isn’t wanted now

He thinks the only reasons Viktor is sticking by him now are- one, out of pity, and two, because Viktor *has* no one else. The pity will go away on its own, and he can make sure that people love Viktor and find him a place in the nearby town. After that, he’ll leave, because he’s clearly not wanted.

He has no more dreams, he’s catatonic half the time, and he’s not even strong enough to do a lot of physical labor anymore. Sure, he’s attractive still, but Viktor wasn’t the type to stay with a pretty face just because it was pretty.

I just think Jayce should get manhandled like the pretty boy he is. And I think Viktor should get to toss Jayce around
