I am deeply excited for Absolute Martian Manhunter to run into one of the other Absolute heroes because they're all full on costumed superheroes and half of them are GIGANTIC and he's an exhausted, nearly divorced guy who is sharing his brain with a big friendly alien who is on telepathic acid 24/7

Wonderful. This is one of the best comics panels ever drawn. It - and the pages around it - rewired my brain and changed the way I talked about and understood art and storytelling. If there is any book I would recommend unreservedly to creative people, it’s Scott McCloud’s Understanding Comics.
