This is a ten minute video broken up into parts for Bluesky from two australian doctors who made it into Gaza. The video starts with them saying the baby formula they brought with them was taken away and that Israel bombing the hospital in front of them and lying about giving warnings

With this logic, the right & left are identical. Why? Because their words are identically annoying. They talk similarly — or similarly enough.

So it doesn’t matter that the right own nearly everything, including the politicians. What matters is turning down the noise that’s bothering the celebrity.

Instead, celebrity logic is mostly concerned with maintaining its own authority, an authority that’s (of course) based on access to various forms of capital — but which sees itself as *morally* superior.

“If only you were as thoughtful and civil as I am. But you’re so *noisy and mean*, all of you.”

Celebrity logic isn’t much interested in material relations of power, since its own position *requires* these.

This is one reason why celebrities are chiefly so dull, even if they perform a “bad boy” persona (Waleed doesn’t do this, unless “debate class contrarian” is a form of bad boy).

I don’t know Waleed, so take this with a pinch of salt.

But what his latest piece *looks like* is celebrity logic refined (but not altered) by a PhD.

Celebrity logic loves broadcast media: a one way flow of information from them to hoi polloi. The information flows down, and from a great distance.
