True! On average, it takes me 20 hours to knit a pair of socks. I usually knit dk weight or so sweaters in a 2XL or XL size, and they take me around 40 hours. I have no doubt a bulky sweater would be similar to socks!

Jan/Feb/March have all worked out! The rainbow pair is my Jan/March, in Feb I finished the second pink sock, meaning 2 finished pairs already for 2025. Really good for me based on historic knitting trends! 🧦🧶✨️

I've been thinking about this cast on since October, at least 🍊 I held off on casting on to try and get some WIPs done, but if I want to wear this before summer, I need to start knitting now! 🧶

The cuff of these is from the Purl Bug blog, they are called Heel Tab Shorties. I have no problem with them staying on! Its a folded over cuff, so i think that extra tension keeps them up nicely :)

Two handknit shortie socks on a woven table runner. The socks are made using the Heel Tab pattern from the Purl Bug Blog, a heel flap, and a self patterned colourwork section on the arch. The yarn is 2 colours of jawoll, a marled black/white and a neon yellow.

Socks! Wonderful socks! Small and portable and guaranteed to take me 7 months to finish 😂🧶🧦

2. There was 1 WIP I didn't knit on, but progress was made on most
3. The sock was finished! 🧦
4. No yarn was purchased! 🧶🙌

These are all amazing! Big fan of the autumn one, it looks so good with the fall leaves 🍂
