Mayor looks to appoint Dame Karen Buck as new Chair of OPDC The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan has announced his intention to appoint Dame Karen Buck as the new chair of the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC).

Very pleased to see that Dame Karen Buck has been nominated to be the next chair of the OPDC.

The lion’s share of new development under OPDC’s auspices takes place within Ealing.

We want our new town to be the best it can be. Looking forward to working with Karen to make it happen.

I’m giving this a go.

I think it’s important we still exist every space, even if it’s uncomfortable. You can’t find the compromises you need to make to live in a cohesive society if you don’t engage with those who you disagree with.

But it would be nice to have nice spaces too.
