Its awesome you have a large enough friend group to do that! Are your games mostly online? Or do you have a friend group close enough and large enough to support in person games?

I think that's a fairly familiar story to most people. Most of my players moved away either during, or after, the main Covid push. So now we only play remotely with one another. But I struggle to find new players that are near me.

We've worked hard to make the landing page for scheduled games interesting. We even have a game chat built in to help get the game organized.

When joining groups of strangers and dms wouldn't you like to know a little bit of what you are in for? It also promotes best behavior and overall not ruining experiences for everyone else.
