Ammo constraints as a balancing method make things frustrating, but idk how I'd address it. Seems like being able to treat pve enemies as ammo crates would be the logical straight line path but I'm just a simple country lawyer.

It's the first time I've played a game where everything can go completely wrong in a few seconds. I think I like it, even if I don't think I'd spend a lot of time playing. I'll probably spring for it at the end of the day just to see.

If you went by YouTube comments Marathon sucks bad, but it's fantastic. Might not be my bag long term, but they made something really fun, beautiful, and immersive.

Isn't packaging to nix basically a superset of putting your software in any other distribution method? Like, wouldn't it actually be easier to set up your flatpaks and/or appimages that way?

There's a whole host of professional stem software that will never port to Linux because somebody wrote it in 1994 and it's barely changed and will never change. And nobody in industry wants to pay to port it because their IT people are just a human black box on top of the computer's black box.

It gives you more perks per column so your odds of a good roll are better. Above tier 3 the barrels and mags are enhanced, which improves stats and stuff. Tier 5 can access a wider pool of mods.

I was bummed they didn't put hope for the future and the other tangled short jukebox songs in there.

The major differentiator is that Warframe is run by people who want to make something great and do right by their community. Destiny devs who love their work have had to fight tooth and nail to stay north of gatcha games in terms of player hostility.

It gets a lot of hate but it’s pretty good. I wish they’d had bigger maps and a consistent pvp presence, but the “both teams in separate instances of the same map” thing must have had some benefit.

If some distro would wrap it all in a gui it’d be easier than traditional package management for sure.
