Oh no, Shredder from Turtles 2: Secret of the Ooze, has taken in the Ooze! But the doctor explains that he's enhanced it. Shredder then transforms... into a Super Shredder... that's Rule 63'd! Same giant razor-saw pauldrons, but a more fishnet ninja look throughout and exposed belly and Azula-ish hair. Shredder is confused. Also, a cool Neca Super Shredder figure, because I want to show it off!

Female Shredder in front of the Foot Clan kids, speechifying like a cult leader, and saying that she is their Mother. She's got an Azula-like haircut, small spikey shoulder pads, and is reaching out. Also the coolest cape that I couldn't capture well enough in ink, dang it.

2025-6 - Shredders! Specifically, the movie one, who still has one of the aura-filled villain intros of all time. And Super Shredder, the coolest design despite the unfortunately short 'fight'. Also unfortunate, my Shredder 63 is basically just Azula with smaller Zuko scars. Blast it!

this is my revenge for being enamored by Star Guardian in League of Legends before realizing that we'll probably never ever ever get a satisfactory resolution/complete story for its lore, and going "well if I have to imagine an ending we might as well start from scratch"

yoooo DIE is brutal but gorgeous, and I wish more people talked about it! (I'm curious about the TTRPG based on it; the fact it exists at all honestly just feels funny in a cosmic way)

Next panel reveals she's just explaining the comic she's from, 'Die', made by Kieron Gillen and Stephanie Hans, a super fun, if heady and dark graphic novel! She's very happy in the last panel, holding up a DIE omnibus, which is how I read the story.

2025-4 - DIE! By Kieron Gillen and Stephanie Hans - a very cool, though-provoking, D&D inspired story. And this is Ash, who's stuck as a girl in a fantasy game (again) with their estranged trauma-ridden group of friends, and it's anything but fun and games. I really enjoyed it and really like Ash!

Might try doing Rule 63s for October that I haven't seen yet - still rusty, but fun to get back to physical media. This time, Sissel, from Ghost Trick! Been watching Snapcube2's playthrough, and it's still such a fun underrated game.

had a very "urghhh" discovery just now; it looks like the source files for Unholy Bliss didn't survive that hard drive death from a few months ago. That sucks but honestly I was thinking of rebooting it regardless since I've gotten better at animation and would've wanted to retry from scratch anyway

dnd campaign update: PC had a transfem-affirmative experience. spellcaster PCs created censor bars over a nude muskox person. other PC pretended to be an insane preacher to get closer to a suspicious eel man. last PC got handwraps and punched a tree that he was scared was secretly fey.

welp off to rewatch Fantasy High once again

Animation status: most of the simultaneously annoying but exciting bits are done, I'd say like 70%? there's just the remainder key portions and then backgrounds, FX, and audio to take care of...

I haven't gotten the chance to use Heat Metal on an armored enemy yet
