First edition of Sense & Sensibility "by a Lady."   It was Jane's first published novel (in 1811).  Northanger Abbey still hadn't been printed by the publisher who purchased it in 1806. Jane's House in Chawton Robert Hillingford "The Duke of Wellington in Portugal, 1809".  Jane's brother Henry made money speculating on the war. Frank and Charles were in the Navy.
