consuming/completing a book I think audiobooks count as reading, but in terms of reading as meaning literacy I agree with you.

But I wonder if when people, in these conversations talking about if listening to audiobooks count as reading, are thinking about literacy or if they are thinking in terms of consumption/completion (if that makes sense). I think I was replying more in terms of the latter. In the sense of (1/2)

24.11.2024 03:35 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I love a poem with couplets that have wild second lines. Give me "Everyday he ate the same breakfast: / fourteen love letters folded into paper airplanes" alllllll day. Business in the front, fantasy in the back. Little poetry mullets. Tiny tugboats dragging leviathans into the harbor.

19.11.2024 00:51 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0To all my lovely romance authors. There has to also be a plot. THERE HAS TO ALSO BE A PLOT. Think about it this way. If you were reading a book and the author had the character make lunch, but the character made lunch every 5-10 pages. It would be repetitive, boring, and annoying right? RIGHT??????
18.11.2024 23:43 — 👍 5 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0The twilight movie series would've been (more) perfect if they didn't give Kristen Stewart that horrible wig in Eclipse and if they just used a real baby in Breaking Dawn. It breaks my heart whenever I think about it. We could have had it all.
