Ultimately, embedding psychological processes of spillover within collective processes (e.g., institutions) can unlock positive spillover at the rate and scale required by the climate crisis.

We review work on the psychological facilitators of positive spillover (e.g., environmental identity). And research that leverages social interactions and institutional practices (e.g., in the workplace) to amplify these psych processes and bolster positive spillover.
