his whole self collapsed onto the cold ground with a loud thud. once again, riley was back to being unhelpful and turned to look at simon with tearful eyes. the furthest left head didn't even have it in him to snap at his weakest self.

simon and ghost roared in challenge. the creature clicked and both covered heads stared eerily silent at “Alone”. brief, sharp seconds ticked by before both collective creations rushed at each other with deadly intent.

a few hours later...

The sound of large feet made simon and ghost halt their expressions of anger. their attention quickly focusing on what was in front of them. all the noise attracted a monster they have never seen before and it was much bigger than "Alone".

“…c-cap……c-captain…”, riley repeated pitifully for the millionth time. he wasn't even bothered by the verbal lashing, nor the dead fingernails slicing into his rotting cheek.

from him all over again. worst of all...that beautiful being was mostly likely now dead. and whose fault was that? simon chattered and roared into ghost's face as the answer to that festered in his head.

simon nipped at ghost and clawed at riley in an effort to get one of the fuckers to shut up and, of course, release his own pent up frustrations. he was just as upset as ghost was with riley. he finally had the version of soap he missed only for his angel to be ripped away-

simon groaned in annoyance. between ghost bitching (growling obnoxiously) and wretched riley's repetitive whining, there was never a moment of peace for any of them to settle their emotions. simon got so fed up with it, he also joined in on the chaos.

“Thanks.”, Eren finally let go and shoved Reiner back. “Now you got that off your chest, stop being such a fucking creep. Your peeping is distracting, ya knothead.”, Eren barked and watched Reiner’s face brighten further.

“Nothin…I just……your hair…it looks nice.”, the blonde hesitantly admitted. He didn’t dare to look away from Eren. The enigma narrowed his eyes but continued staring at the taller male with an emotionless face.

The enigma was surprised to be met with the intense gaze of Reiner Braun. The alpha’s face reddened as his eyes widened. He was clearly in fright as if he was caught with his pants down. “…you need somethin, Reiner?”, Eren raised an eyebrow and yanked the guy closer.

He was starting to narrow down the causes of it, but he anticipated what it could be.

Eren swept his fingers across the back of his neck. A shiver instantly shot straight down his spine. He quickly spun around and yanked this unknown threat behind him by the collar of their shirt.

Finally, Eren smiled back and gave her a nod. “It feels great.”
