The Brazilian Air Force has today announced successful firing of the #METEOR BVR-missile from F-39E #Gripen.
The live European-made MBDA Beyond Visual Range missile was fired during 'Operation BVR-X' a live-firing campaign out of Natal air base.

GKN has some really state of the art manufacturing capabilities in Sweden so this project should be interesting. And likely more so for the working methods than about the actual flying vehicle.
This type of hands on projects is what we need more of - to learn and work smarter.
