So I was considering why I resonate more with Satisfactory over something like Minecraft and I think it's a combination of two things: restrictions and direction.

The restrictions force you to be creative with a limited toolset, and the direction gives you something to work on all the time.

Oh this has my attention. A creative-focused factory game with a nice low poly esthetic. It's closer to Shapez than Satisfactory, but it blends the two in several ways. It's only a demo and I've only played for a little bit, but seems neat!

I sometimes listen to Satisfactory environment or factory ambient videos while writing or doing other stuff. Helps me keep from cracking the game open and procrastinating on my other life priorities. 😅

That's gorgeous! Is it mostly the N7 color pattern? Did you customize pipes with another color pattern (like Alliance blue and white)? I might give the Mass Effect scheme a try on my next playthrough.
