Stuff like this never ceases to make my blood boil. The sooner the American empire collapses, the better off the world will be. jacobin.com/2025/03/cuba...
10.03.2025 18:27 β π 9 π 1 π¬ 2 π 0The following comment from Trump about hiring "geniuses" from MIT was also wild. These people are deranged.

28.02.2025 21:11 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I hate this hyperbole. They have died for Ukraine's right to join NATO. Russia's actions have been deplorable, but if you accept that NATO represents global freedom and democracy then you really have been brainwashed.

But this may be the new normal and it's ultimately what people in the US voted for. Hard right nationalist politics have no morals, only prizes to be secured and lots of collateral damage.
The people in control of the Labour Party are so wedded to the foreign policy of the US and this won't change that. They have no original thoughts about the UK's place in the world.

There will be recriminations on both sides after that, but what a derby.
Throwback to the 80s and 90s.
Everton save face and Liverpool go 7pts clear at the top. Think both managers will settle for that when everything calms down. #EVELIV #EFC #LFC
I would dispute that Boris was a conviction politician. Johnson did what was best for himself and changed position regularly to suit the galleries. The right wing version of Starmer in a way, just more charismatic.
09.02.2025 14:43 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I really don't know why some are only just realising this. Starmer has never had any plans politics.
He wants to run the country like a Senior Civil Servant when what people want is conviction politicians.
This Liverpool team really are inevitable.

When politics is dominated by allegedly left wing parties continually telling working class people to pick up the tab for capitalism, this is what happens.
The takeaways from this piece:
- Labour losing more votes to "progressive" parties than Reform, so why spend more time pandering to Reform voters.
- "Labour's intensifying focus on Reform" does more damage to Labour by giving Reform legitimacy. Damage to Badenoch is irrelevant.

Anfield. Finished 0-0
Liverpool went on to win the league, Forest in 2nd
Was thinking that, but then Forest were flying in 94/95 for a bit as well.

Imagine Fowler in this Liverpool side. How many goals would he score??!! #LFC #LIVACC
Haven't read the article, but gonna guess that karaoke will feature heavily.
What a place.
The world is a mad place at the moment innit?
Kids being starved, pensioners being left to freeze, Palestinians being wiped out, Musk building an unholy alliance with fascists and now Trump threatening to invade Canada and Greenland.
Capitalism is eating itself.
If #LFC were going to lose their undefeated run, tonight wasn't a bad time for it to happen.
Hopefully, the bad performances are now out the system and we can crack on. A bit worrying how much we seemed to have slowed down though.
Szoboszlai's legs a big miss in the midfield.

Slow, scrappy and a bit shit.
Up the 2nd leg Reds.
P.S. Atwell again. When is going stop having anything to do with us?

Just finished watching the first #WWERaw on Netflix.
The matches were good, but there was that much filler it should have been sponsored by B&Q.
The opening with Triple H might have been the best bit of the whole thing.
Well apart from Rhea Ripley, who is boss.
