1970s chrome wire cage base lamp, with flickering flame light bulbs in chrome candles inside the cage. Black lizard skin patterned paper lampshades in pyramidal shape. Lamp lights 3 ways: candles, main bulb or both.

Last spring I found a pair of these lamps, without shades. Yesterday I was delighted to find just the right shades. Coming to Vintage Revival Market at Rockvale Outlets, Lancaster, PA, April 4-5.

At an estate sale yesterday I bought this vintage purse. Inside was a calling card from Mrs. Bertram Catzen.
Hortense’s husband Bertram died in 1951 at his home in Baltimore’s Stafford Hotel, which F. Scott Fitzgerald also called home.
