Tl;dr, It's a grim future

Alternative platforms also do not help in this respect, as their current systems will never catch up to Roblox's. If you want to do anything with unions or anything post-2014 you must use a fanmade launcher/client that replicates Roblox's Engine
And even then some of those rely on Roblox's systems

It's clear that Roblox doesn't care about their past and the more the platform goes on and I fear the day they start fully purging old assets from terminated accounts in an attempt to erase history and their past choices

I unironically hear people rejoicing for the day they remove Classic T-Shirts

Even from more of an archival standpoint

> Animations are no longer downloadable
> Private/Friends-Only games being completely hidden
> Offsale Clothing becoming hidden that you need to use 3rd party extensions for
> The one terminated model purge of models from pre-2013

Even from a non-game developer perspective shit's just been getting harder and harder to do

it's hard to make roblox games now, gathering up the courage to do something on this platform is genuinely such a heavy weight on me mentally.
