I'm looking at this post and being reminded of Delgo, the largest indie wide release box office bomb of all time. James Cameron literally poached digital artists from Delgo and the side-by-side shots of art on the screen are AMAZINGLY similar. Only, Delgo had a far more convoluted story and failed.
