Years ago Aggrands were enslaved by elites and other less savory groups for their abilities to perform great labors. In some cases there were raised to super star status in gladiatorial circuits. Their battle prowess was so great and fearsome many were even made to command armies for their lords.

Valrund as a kingdom has been isolated from the others for quite sometime. So much so their arms and armors would be considered antiquated compared to their neighbors in Farfolis.
