Exactly! It's surprising how many people aren't getting that, and it's also disheartening to see how many misogynists are responding ... maybe infuriating is a better word. This is a topic I feel strongly about, but I'm annoyed at having to block so many people.

Exactly. Now replace the word vasectomy with abortion. Respecting individual choice is essential for bodily autonomy. Not the government's choice.

I believe the point is that the government should not be telling men or women what they can do with their bodies. When given this extreme example about forced vasectomies, perhaps people, men in particular, can see how unacceptable that is.

Women who have contraception, their own income, and education are a threat to domineering men. Those men have a lot of women against them! We cannot go back. Why aren't they legislating mandatory vasectomies? We know why.
