Yesterday I was hanging out with some fellow Romanian immigrants to the US. Everyone joked about being deported. We talked about the No Kings protests. They didn’t go to the one in their town - they were worried about ICE.

The Fediverse is made up of individual humans. It's chaotic, some parts of it are rude, and there's a learning curve. But the path forward for Fedi is towards democracy, rather than authoritarianism.

Thanks Richard. That’s a great write-up. It feels great to see press coverage of Fedi stuff.

It feels like, little by little, the pieces we are putting together start to make a greater whole.

Such an amazing day 2 of @fediforum. Conversations got deep today - both in the social aspects of Fedi as well as the technical aspects. There was even a session on UI design in the Fediverse, led by someone from ProSocial Design Network.
