Anonymous Coward 7 hours ago I saw your post about FF14 and the Nier/Yoko Taro "delete your save at the end of game" idea and I had to ask if that part is just a bit or are you a true believer of that concept? To me it got annoying with how much he kept pushing that idea for other games, especially the Shadowbringers raids. One trick pony etc. I also think it's a gimmick now in Taro's games that everyone knows to expect it lol, but i was being earnest about the FF14 post. Doing it in an MMO is like one million times cooler and also the big problem that FF14 currently has is that it ended. It finished and everyone largely liked it and then they just had to kinda keep going. The specifics are whatever I don't actually know if yoshi-p should have made everyone delete their ERP OC or not, but I do think if Endwalker had an ending ass ending and Dawntrail was FF14-2 and a ground up rework of a lot of systems and ideas Square would be in a much better position than they are right now, considering every single complaint is like "i've played this game for a decade and it's boring now" which like yeah man! no shit! A decade is a great run.
