This is the second time in a week that I find myself riding a performance high only to see it be accompanied by the looming shadow of reality.
The incredible feeling I get from letting go and just being myself and seeing my potential is always cut short by knowing that, for now, I can't chase it.

In hindsight the phrasing "post-ball high" may have been a little too on the nose as a trans woman lol

Not gonna lie, I'm kinda riding a post-ball high right now. Somehow pulled out a 5 basket streak in the last 5 minutes to take our team from a tight 1 point lead to a late game stomp.

Okay so this run I'm actually really REALLY proud of because it not only made it under 1:50:00 but also had some INCREDIBLE clutch moments with some really tight windows on one-shot attacks that would have killed the run!
