On the whole it definitely feels tougher than the first one and I remember asking myself "how am I supposed to speedrun this, it's impossible" but once you get used to the flow of it and everything clicks it feels a lot better imo

I think it's harder because in Hades 2, compared to Hades 1, you have to be more deliberate. In H1 it was not as difficult to get yourself out of a bad situation with the generous dash frames. But with H2 changing to dash-sprint you have fewer options to escape when things get tough.
