Absolutely valid! I think the distinction is that people try to pass off chatgpt responses/ thoughts/content as their own, when they should just openly admit they used the platform to arrive at the answer. Transparency is needed.

Does it matter as long as they’ve arrived at the correct answer regardless of how? It demonstrates their problem solving skills which are highly valuable in employees.
