I'm pretty bad at drawing kids: Essek looks older than I intended and Verin younger. I actually don't mind it! I imagine it's pretty common for elven siblings to have bigger age gaps.
Also drawing armour is not my thing hehe, it's good to challenge myself tho :3

Every new year since coming out I paint a self portrait to reflect on my gender identity, my body and my experience within it. I was supposed to have finished this one last year but I never found the time, so here it is before I start the one for this year!
