There’s this thing I’ve experienced on a lot of dive trips where men, it’s always men, will weight shame me. “You’re a good diver, you don’t need that much weight.” Sir I cannot descend without it. Tonight I pulled this up on the oceanic+ app and it’s on point when I’m in my 5.5mm

When does the click-to-cancel law go into effect? I couldn’t cancel 1 of my memberships without a call which I was too late for and my gym membership doesn’t have an online cancelation option still.

Also I called the one place and asked to cancel for next billing period. She did it for 2 months 🤬

TV is boring rn so lately I spend an hour or two a night on Jumpspeak learning French (I think it’s beautiful and I want to run refuge to refuge in the Pyrenees in October) and Spanish (because I should know Spanish).

Today I kept on saying comment vous appellez-vous because it sounds so lovely

Just, me, not sleeping because a fire broke out next to the 405 and now I’m watching both an animated plane circle around a fire icon and another animated plane pick up water from a reservoir on a flat map (and occasionally looking at camera footage of said fire)

I think it’s the only way we can get through all of this, banding together and supporting each other. It feels like a lot of us have to put faith in not us people to keep being good and decent. Thank you for being good and decent 💙

I’m not coping terribly well.
I feel like I’m still in a state of shock from everything that happened yesterday. And everything that’s happened in 2025.

I chatted w a stranger at a shop yesterday and we both expressed the same concerns then when we parted, shared a heartfelt “Be Safe.” Sigh.
