I turned off all social media on my phone except for bluesky cause it literally has nothing interesting for me to scroll through and isn’t a threat to my productivity

So in my darkest, most bored hours, you’ll find me in the back of this void, screaming back

I don’t really post much anymore but happy new year to y‘all! 2025 sucked but I also had a lot of good things happen to me and I’m excited for 2026 and I’m gonna keep making more art and hopefully also actually be able to post stuff again :‘) Maybe you’ll see me repost some of what I’m working on…

Random social media "advice" keeps trying to tell me that drawing pretty women is how you draw more people to your art and oh fuck I hope I did this right

I also tend to adjust my style and methods to what people need rather than having one consistent style and workflow, which makes things even harder. I kind of built myself up as this jack of all trades in a way, but I feel like this is biting me in the ass right now

@ artists who do commissions or freelance work while having adhd and thus aren’t consistent in how efficiently they’re working… how do you price your art? With my self esteem as low as it is I struggle to price my art, but I can’t just go by some sort of hourly rate calcs cause I won’t know -

I always feel horrible for weeks before my birthday because I'm the biggest hater of the passage of time, but at least that's gonna be over tomorrow and then I'll actually work on projects again. SO, uh, sorry for not really existing so far on this account. bad timing

We did another #DnD oneshot yesterday so I ended up designing another character! Our DM isn't too strict on designs feeling species-accurate, so her being a buff eladrin druid was fine with him. Honestly really happy with how my art is developing now that I stopped chasing a style that isn't mine

Gonna be beating perfectionism to a pulp by posting unfinished character designs and meme-y sketches. Why do I still try to keep up this weird people pleasing perfectionist image when I could also just have fun?

I kinda want to treat bluesky as a restart to how I handle commissions as well as just casual posting. I never really posted sketches before.

I also feel like I should really embrace the things people commission me for - Emotes, Icons, Character designs (usually for TTRPGs or sonas), and Pngtubers.
